But, God... It has really been a long time since I've been here, huh?

Yeah... heh heh... what can I say? I've been hella busy/lazy over the last year. Busy with school and work, and being lazy at making nice pics and stuff to post here. After lots of nagging from friends and ... followers (???), I finally got off (or rather on) my butt and submitted the finished works I had managed to do within the last year. It's not a lot, but since I didn't have much motivation, and was in a transitional stage, I was mostly doing sketches. I'll send some to the scraps folder eventually. But yeah, been improving my style and technique: anatomy, lineweight, Photoshop learning, and other stuff. Hopefully my art doesn't look like crap anymore???

Not sure what this year is to bring. This quarter I may only be taking 13 credits worth of classes (Physics, Microeconomics, Principles of Strenghtening and Conditioning, and Beginning Self-Defense) but I am also working 15 hours a week at the dininghall and bakery. Why you may ask? Why am I working myself to death with little free time and hardly eating anything??? Is it cuz I'm suicidal? Stupid? Eccentric? Corrupt? Just damn crazy? ...Mmmm.... possibly. It's mostly cuz I am broke and need monies to afford Christmas this year, basic living stuffs, manga, costume stuffs, and saving for Sakura con. So yeah... it may be a while before I post anything new, but I am still drawing.

Actually, for some really big/cool news, I am soon going to start a web comic (hopefully by November/December) so please read it when I get it up. .....Yes.... I know I said I'm busy, but this is the other part of the reason why. I am excited for it and all cuz I have been wanting to do this for years. Sadly, it's not Half'n Half 'cuz I'm still going over it again and again until it's to my liking. This one is new and I got the idea for it last spring. My friend Courei (how do I do the linky thing) has been helping me with it as my editor. In exchange I am going to do bg work for her soon to come web comic AMP: Angry Monster Pizza, as well as possibly work on a RSOM entry with her and Treashin (linky!) also doing bgs. But back on the subject, I have already written about 13 chapters, done some storyboarding, and have 1/3rd of the first chapter drawn so far. I would like to get the whole first chapter done and second on the way by the time I start posting (cuz buffers are good). At the moment it is titled "Dogg'd", but a name change will hopefully occur, cuz it's just not catchy enough. Basically it is a modern fantasy/occult/highschool comedy around a human girl and a werewolf boy in their meeting and the other characters they meet, interact with, situations that occur, hopefully some action, and the like. No idea how long it will run or how it will end as of yet, I've just decided to let it flow and create a life of it's own. (Be free! Grow my child!)

Now I am going to go curl up with a good book (The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, w00t) and get some sleep soon. Yay for DDR tomorrow... (I sprained my ankle last week and couldn't play *cries pathetically*)... so I need rest. Anyways, that's it for now. Hope to put some more stuff up and get the web comic going soon.
